My affection for him only grew stronger everyday. :)
Colin is the best thing that happened in my life.
I often wonder how many centuries of good karma points did I accumulate to finally meet my zing who in turn, notice me. On the first encounter where he held my hand, I went utterly weak in my knees and loss my sense of direction on a bustling street in Bugis (I think I was looking for a mailbox). How silly I must've look back then.
Reality check: Our relationship is not perfect.
The beauty of it all are the little imperfections that make us stronger, more resilient to hardships and the bond which grew tighter with each hurdle we overcome.
Fairy tales can come true if we work hard on building the story sincerely and together.
So how did we celebrate our 5th year together?
We chilled, shopped around Orchard Road and then had dinner at P.S. cafe. It was a simple yet perfect affair for someone who needs total relaxation time. For me, 2017 is overwhelmed with events & shows, life-changing moments, running business processes and rushing to performances. It's been a long, long while since I've quiet moments with Colin and just doing the 'normal' things as a couple should.
Amidst all our busy schedules, Colin thoughtfully planned a day of exploring some sky gardens along Orchard Road. However the funniest thing was, we didn't get to visit any of the sky gardens he'd wanted to bring me to - one was too far and the other one was closed for renovation.
But oh well, I managed to get a pair of new track pants from Victoria's Secret and feeling really satisfied. Dinner ended with a surprise bouquet of, you guessed it, rainbow roses!
I'm so blessed.
Thank you for everything, Man Man.
Happy fifth anniversarinfinity to us!
Here's a pat on our backs for achieving another life milestone together.
